Shine and poverty of medals. Differences in the international and Soviet quality standards of wines
On the world standards on a bottle the label with the basic information on fault and its manufacturer, over it koleretka with instructions of year of a crop or endurance term, on a bottle underside - a counter-label with the description of wine and recommendations about its use can be pasted.
The Label usually contains the registered logo of firm-manufacturer or the supplier and sometimes the art image or a photo.
The First that is evident on labels of "Inkermana" and the glorified French wines – absence of medals. The matter is that medals are received by wines of certain year of a crop ( millezimy ), the difference as wines of different years can be very striking. Basically, each firm makes efforts only for increase of the reputation in general, instead of reputations of separate wines. The price for wines of successful years in the world market can be in tens times above usual. At us such liberties with the price are not possible. An exit only in putting the best wine in cellars on collection storage. Then for each year it will be possible to confirm the corresponding price.
All international competitions were spent To a Soviet period within the limits of SEV, Council of economic mutual aid of the socialist countries so it is not necessary to take them too seriously. Present medals in general are distributed within the limits of one Ukraine or several post-Soviet republics.
If Tokaj South careful bears on the label of 20 medals, but you do not like sweet wines, you will prefer it inexpensive dry Kokur and will be right. Look at figures of a fortress and the maintenance of sugar and on the exact data about the manufacturer more. Presence of phone, the electronic address, STATE THAT, a stroke-code is the best ornament of a label, than a medal.
For wine tourism by the main indicator local uniqueness of wine is. In this sense to Crimea is, than to involve tourists, and the prices for the Crimean wines, like French, already consider uniqueness of points of production and native grades.
As the Basis for price formation in the world market 4 categories of wines accepted in France serve:
- table – the cheapest wine which is made from raw materials different vinogradarskih economy. The term "table" at us extends only on dry wines though there is a huge set of fortified wines the raw materials for which arrive not only from different corners of Crimea, but also from areas of Ukraine.
- local – examples of such wines can be port Crimean, a muscat Taurian
- regional - (vin de qualite produit dans une region determinee, VQPRD) – narrower area of growth of grapes with a guarantee of its steady quality. Port of Livadija, a muscat South careful can be examples of such wines.
- KNP (AOC) (the controllable name by origin - appellation d ` origine controlee) – the main concept.
Apellason is translated as "эршьхэютрэшх" – in Crimea it "the Solar valley", the Kachinsky valley, the Red Stone and other small territories with unique high-quality properties of grapes. In France according to the law from July, 30th, 1935 the considerable part of the French vineyards is broken on apellasony, and their right to manufacture of the well-known expensive wines is protected by the state. At us to it all goes, but it is difficult to tell, how quickly.
Anyway, the name apellasona necessarily is underlined on our labels as it is accepted and on the best wines of the world.
Capacity bottles. At the French restaurants such designations, as are usually used
"demi-bouteille" (semibottle), "bouteille" (bottle), a magnum "magnum" etc., in the Russian old literature and basement sheets the same standards are accepted. Now at us capacity in litres. The basic standards 0,5 for expensive wines; 0.7, 0,75 – for the majority, and also 1 l for Vermouths. To balms apply flat small bottles in capacity of 0,25 l is more often. Cognacs can be in any container from 50 grammes and any form. Souvenir decanters, kegs and amphoras apply also to expensive collection wines.
the Grade or grapes grades of which wine is made, can make its name or be specified on a counter-label.
the wine Category under the maintenance of sugar, a fortress and features of manufacture on good wines is designated clearly and largely. If on a label certain beautiful mythical images and a gilt stamping without clear instructions whom of what and under what standards wine is made it obviously dominate the souvenir, than a foodstuff is faster.
It is accepted to name Wines on a source language, naturally, and labels of the Crimean wines are made in the Ukrainian language . It bears some difficulties for Russian tourists, however practice shows that it gives also additional pleasure. There is nothing more pleasantly, than to study language, especially such close, behind a bottle of good wine. In following section we result the small dictionary for the terms presenting some difficulties. The majority of words will be clear and without transfer.
On labels of the West European wines usually it is not underlined the maintenance of sugars , and its control is not such strict as in the post-Soviet countries as sugar content of grapes very much fluctuates year by year also winemaking classic methods do not allow to maintain the sugar standard rigidly.
As a whole, however, the Soviet standards coincide with universal, but natural dry and moist wines of France have usually much bigger fortress (14-16%), than ours (9-12%). the Fortress necessarily is underlined on a label in exact figures, and the sugar maintenance – only on our labels. The basic groups have such indicators:
- dry (sec): with the maintenance of sugar less than 4 g/l – at us 0,3 g/100 cubic sm or 0,3%;
- moist (demi-sec): with the maintenance of sugar 4-12 g/l – at us 0,5-2,5 g/100 cubic sm or%;
- semisweet (moelleux that in a literal translation means "срЁ§р=шё=юх" or it is simple demi-doux): with the maintenance of sugar 12-45 g/l – at us 2,5-4,5;
- sweet (doux): with the maintenance of sugar more than 45 g/l – at us such wines always kreplenye, sugars in them from 4,5% ("ports") and to 20% (likernye sweet wines).
In group of natural dry wines (white, pink and red) distinctions special between world and Soviet classification are not present. However among dry wines of France and other countries big enough group is made by green wines, and in some provinces of France rare yellow wines are issued still. Nevertheless, medical and dietary properties red wines and more all, according to the Crimean scientists possess only
Branded red dry wine of deep is dark-ruby colour from the grade with the same name received by selectors of Institute of grapes and wine "Magarach" from crossing of French Cabernet and Georgian Saperavi. Valleys of the western Foothills of Crimea where grapes are grown up, keep not only shape of an antiquity, but also protogenic ecological cleanliness. Wine possesses antiraditsionnymi, bactericidal and krovetvornymi properties, does not allow to be formed to blood clots and strengthens heart.
3 years of endurance develop a rich bouquet with tones of a cherry stone, a black currant and morocco. Taste full and velvety with paints of aristocratic grades-primogenitors. A fortress of 12%.
