Port ' Taurida '

Having spent 15 million roubles for settling of the new earths and reporting to Catherine II and its visitor – the emperor of Austro-Hungary Joseph II, prince Potyomkin has achieved a fast victory in the next Russian-Turkish war, having kept both Moldova, and Crimea. Austro-Hungary has seriously supported Russia armies, and other European powers have been convinced by Potyomkin, let and by means of the cardboard villages decorated with cheap fires that Russia bears calmness, prosperity and a civilisation on southeast restless suburb of Europe.

Violent and clumsy enough, not market introduction of the European culture of agriculture G.A.Potyomkin has destroyed more advanced, harmless inherently gardening and wine growing of Crimea, secrets and which achievements and for a modern science are still incomprehensible.

Huge financial and administrative possibilities frequently did not give in general any results. However, the negative result is good that he can to be repeated any more.

From the permission all the same Austrian emperor Joseph II, prince Potyomkin has written out four wine-growers and 22 000 rods of the glorified grades from a province of Tokaj (now a part of Hungary). They have been planted at village Funtuki at Old Crimea, on Kache and in the Pike perch. All it soon was gone, and wine-growers have run up. The thoughtful reader will notice, as now in these areas are not grown up tokajskie grades (except for the Solar valley where all the same they have no independent value).

Any traces have not left also attempt of delivery of the well-known grades of Archipelago (islands of Aegean sea).

The Monument to the vigorous prince, quite man-made (but the national track to which, precisely, will not grow never) it is possible to name

Port ' Taurida '

It is let out by tens economy of Crimea from a mix of the European white and black grades in three variants of a blend: white, pink and red, without endurance and under very reasonable price. White has colour from golden to amber, pink can be light or dark, and red – to is dark-ruby. For aroma and taste are characteristic fruit tone and completeness, a notable fortress (17%), moderate sweet (7%) so to drink it it is possible both without snack, and with hot dishes and it is simple under hlebushek or a candy. White shows a hint on pear drying, and red – on prunes more.
